This cosy two-bedroom cottage has beautiful views from each room. The main room (with double bed and single bed) boasts an indoor fireplace, a special reading nook with futon (that could serve as an additional single bed), and a deck overlooking the ocean. The second double room has a view of the lush dune vegetation and leads onto the spacious, open-plan, lounge and dining room area with built-in braai. There is also a massive rooftop deck overhead – the best place to enjoy coffee at sunrise and a sundowner/braai at sunset. A third double room could be arranged if needed.

The Skye Beach Cottage is located in a paradisiacal part of South Africa’s Garden Route and is one of four accommodations of the Skye Beach Guesthouse. The cottage is nestled in a dune overlooking the pristine coastline and offers a rustic indoor-outdoor experience. So it is fairly basic but clean and comfortable. The outside area is spacious and scenic and includes one large deck overhead. The deck area is perfect for sunrise coffee’s and sunset sundowners; as well as refreshing yoga/pilates sessions with panoramic ocean views and the sound of waves crashing all around you. Skye Beach Cottage offers a cool and comfortable space without compromising the sensation of being in nature.

The Skye Beach Cottage is one of four accommodations of the Skye Beach Guesthouse (all bookable on airbnb); it is neighbours with
(1)Skye Beach House (main deckhouse) which accommodates up to 6 people;
(2) Skye Beach Garden Villa which accommodates up to 8 people; and (3) Skye Ocean Nest which accommodates up to 2 people.

If other guests are staying at Skye Beach Guesthouse on the same days of your booking at the Cottage, you will likely be aware of their presence at some point, they share the same driveway and parking area. Don’t be afraid though, as these are just fellow beach lovers looking to rest and revive in a tranquil location. 🙂

Pets are allowed (not inside the rooms & please bring their own beds).

There is fast uncapped fiber/wifi perfect for those looking to work remotely.

Bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. 🙂
